Born and raised in NYC (yeah, in the five boroughs), I live in Brooklyn now and have the wonderful privilege of covering NYC sports teams and also teaching them to high school students. The Yankees have been a passion since I could first utter the words “Bucky Dent” and I vaguely remember my father waking up the house as Reggie Jackson hit the third of his three World Series home runs in 1977 (I was seven months old…).
From Yankee pajamas to Don Mattingly worship, you could always measure my temperature by how the Yankees were doing. One could only imagine the state I was in when the Yankees won their first World Series that I could actually remember in 1996 — I was a sophomore in college.
Today I live a dream every day I get to visit Yankee Stadium for work or even write words for this blog. Thanks for taking the time to join me on this website.
