Cardinals fans, Cub fans, move over, you won't have to worry about saving up to buy World Series tickets this year. Pirate fans, you haven't mattered in a while. Reds fans, your team is a one-year wonder. When I grew up as a Milwaukee Brewers fan, we were in the toughest division in baseball, the American League East. The scrappy Brewers had to scratch and claw to stay competitive with the likes of the the Yankees, Red Sox and Orioles. Now the Brewers find themselves in the National League and competing with the free spending Cubs and Cardinals.
