Houston Astros manager Brad Mills pinch ran Jimmy Paredes in the 11th inning hoping he would win the game with his feet. Instead, Paredes made a costly error in the bottom of the inning with his arm.

Fan perspective: Jorge Vazquez has been a surprise for the Yankees (Associated Content)

New York Yankees first baseman Jorge Vazquez started off the spring with a bang when he blasted a pitch to straight away center that cleared a screen that was a few feet higher than the wall. The wall is 406 feet away from home plate. The next day he hit another homer, this one off of Brad Lidge of the Philadelphia Phillies, to left field. Vazquez has three home runs in 33 at-bats so far this spring for the New York Yankees. He has a batting average of .424.

Washington back in Bay Area managing World Series (AP)

Ron Washington frantically waves his arms in the Texas Rangers dugout, much like he did when he was a third base coach sending runners home. It's not just his arms, either -- Washington gets so wound up that he runs in place, feet furiously pumping up and down. "I just love the way he never holds his emotion back, especially when he's managing," second baseman Ian Kinsler said.
