Yankees score on 2 errors in 1-0 win over Rays (AP)

James Shields, B.J. Upton and CC Sabathia threw the Yankees into the All-Star break on quite the roll. Shields and Upton made egregious throwing errors that let Robinson Cano score the only run, sending New York to a 1-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. "You usually don't win a 1-0 game like that," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said.

Fan hit in head by foul ball at Rays-Yankees game (AP)

A female fan was hit in the head by a foul ball off New York Yankees designated hitter Jorge Posada's bat during the second inning of a game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Posada came to bat in the second inning Sunday and fouled off the first pitch from Tampa Bay's James Shields, sending it into the seats along the first-base line, where it struck the woman.
