Stan Bahnsen made his major league debut for the New York Yankees on Sept. 9, 1966, when he was 21 years old. I mention Bahnsen because his birthday is Dec. 15, and as a fan of the Yankees, I remember his heralded arrival on the scene in the Bronx.
