Police: Red Sox-Yankees rivalry led to stabbing (AP)

Police say a New Hampshire man has been stabbed in a bar fight over the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox rivalry. Police in the Connecticut shoreline town Branford arrested New Haven resident John Mayor on Saturday night. They say he stabbed Nashua, N.H., resident Monte Freire. Police say Freire was stabbed in the neck with a knife and is hospitalized in critical condition.
