Three minor leaguers suspended for drug violations (AP)

Three minor league baseball players were suspended for violating baseball's drug policy. New York Yankees right-hander Daniel Gil, who is on the Class-A Tampa Yankees, was suspended 50 games for testing positive for Sibutramine, a performance-enhancing drug. Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Ronald Mendez and left-hander Audrys Mora each received 25-game penalties for their violations.
